ALAN MUEGGENBORG
[email protected] Alan Mueggenborg has been involved 40+ years in the Marching Arts as a performer, instructor, visual designer, director, manager, visual coordinator, clinician and adjudicator for some of the most successful programs in the US. Under his design and leadership, these groups have won numerous state, regional and national awards, including 3 BOA Auxiliary and 4 WGI Championship titles. Alan has previously served on the boards of WGI, DCI, Texas Color Guard Circuit and Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma. Alan founded FLASH Visual Media in 2014, providing top-quality printed products for marching arts groups throughout the US. He is currently the Western US Sales Manager for BandToday.com which is a full-service band and color guard supply company. |

JEREMY STEVENS
[email protected] Jeremy Stevens is currently the Director of Theatre at Broken Arrow High School having spent the last 6 years as the Director of Community Engagement for the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Prior to that, he spent the 10 years as a public-school choral music teacher with Broken Arrow Public Schools and Union Public Schools. Jeremy was also the Judges Coordinator for Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma (WGPO) for the last 15 years. He continues to judge throughout the state and region. Jeremy has a degree in Piano Performance and Voice performance, and a degree in Theatre Arts, all from Arkansas Tech University. As a strong advocate for the arts, Jeremy has been on stage either as a director or performer for most of his life and values the educational process that it brings. |

KIM VENTO
[email protected] Kim Vento has worked for over 35 years in the marching and pageantry arts arena. Kim has been a choreographer, instructor, clinician and adjudicator working with pageantry arts camps, drum corps and high school groups throughout the Midwest who have won multiple state, regional, and national titles including 2 BOA Grand National Championships. She is currently the Executive Director of the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center, home of the Kristin Chenoweth Theatre where she hosts the Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp and masterclasses for high school students from all over the country as well as a magnitude of concerts and Broadway tours. She is an active board member of ArtsOK; the Regional Arts Alliance of Broken Arrow and a committee member for Music for All’s Advocacy in Action initiative. |

SARAH RILLO-CEGIELSKI - Instructional Staff Lead
Sarah Rillo-Cegielski is a designer, choreographer, and consultant with a passion for creating meaningful experiences in the scholastic and independent marching arts. She performed with The Crossmen, The Blue Devils—earning a DCI World Championship title in 2012—and Onyx Independent World, where she helped secure a WGI World Championship in 2014, and toured Europe with Blue Devils International in 2015. Sarah spent a year in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance at Wayne State University, training with esteemed artists and performing works by notable choreographers including Ronald Brown, Meg Paul, Biba Bell, Molly Shanahan, Brandon Koepsell, Rachael Harbert, and Jarrell Gordy. She later earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Organizational Leadership and Project Management. In addition to her work with drum corps including Phantom Regiment, Madison Scouts, The Academy, and The Crossmen, she has designed, choreographed, and consulted for high school programs across the country. From 2017 to 2021, she worked with the Pride of Broken Arrow, helping the program win its 2021 Grand National Championship title. Sarah currently works with Tulsa Ballet in Group Sales and enjoys sharing her love of movement and performance with the next generation of artists. |

JESSICA TINSLEY
Jessica Tinsley serves as the Color Guard Director at Broken Arrow HS. A proud alumna of the program, Jessica’s passion for the marching arts began as a performer with Broken Arrow, later continuing with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps and University of South Florida Winter Guard. Her passion for performing eventually led her to Tampa, Florida, where she became actively involved in the Florida Federation of Color Guard Circuit as both a performer and educator. During her time in Florida, Jessica served on the circuit’s advisory board and mentorship program, reflecting her continued dedication to advancing and enriching the color guard activity. Jessica has led and collaborated with numerous nationally recognized programs, including Sunlake HS, where her teams earned a WGI Scholastic A Silver Medal (2019) and a WGI Scholastic Open Bronze Medal (2022). Her teaching experience spans all levels of the activity, including drum corps, scholastic and independent winter guard programs, and percussion ensembles, showcasing her versatility and broad influence within the marching arts community. In addition to directing and instructing, Jessica is an accomplished choreographer, creating dynamic and innovative designs for color guard programs across the country. She is passionate about education and performance development, frequently teaching and choreographing for spin clinics and leadership camps nationwide. |

DARIN WILLIAMS
Darin Williams is beginning their twenty-second year of marching arts instruction, and currently in their fifth year as Color Guard Director for Stillwater HS. Prior to joining Stillwater HS, Darin has worked with a number of regional and national ensembles, including Black Gold Winter Guard, Rhapsody Winter Guard, Madison Scouts, Seattle Cascades, and Boston Crusaders, in addition to several Oklahoma high schools. These experiences have garnered them a number of distinctions, including multiple caption awards, a number of WGI Regional Finalists and Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma class championships, as well as being named the 2010 Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma Director of the Year. Darin received their Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from The University of Oklahoma and a Master's of Arts in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. They served as a classroom teacher for a number of years and were recognized by Edmond Public Schools as a site Teacher of the Year and District Teacher of the Year finalist in 2013. Apart from their time in pageantry they are currently serving as the Director of Education & Community Engagement for The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts at Oklahoma State University. |

DEREK HIGHFIELD
Derek Highfield is currently the Co Guard Director at Owasso HS, where he performed in the guard during his HS years. In the time Derek has been on staff at Owasso, he has helped build their winter guard program which has had great success. Owasso has also been BOA Super Regional Finalist for numerous years throughout the US. In addition to teaching, Derek performed with Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps 2016, 2017 and Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps 2018. He also performed with local Oklahoma winter guards Archon Independent 2016 and Memorial Independent 2017. Derek is a recent graduate from Rogers State University holding a Bachelors of Fine Art with a focus on studio art. He works full time as a costume designer for Black and Pink Dance Supplies in Tulsa, where he has been since graduating HS. Derek loves getting to use his degree in art to help create unique costumes for dance and color guard teams throughout the Central US. |

MEGAN HOWERTON
Megan Howerton has been involved in the marching arts for over 13 years as both a performer and educator. She began her performance career at Sapulpa High School and went on to perform with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as several independent winter guards. As an educator, Megan has taught and choreographed for numerous high school programs across Oklahoma. She currently serves as the Color Guard Director at Sapulpa High School, where she has been teaching and inspiring young performers for 7 years. As a proud alumna of the inaugural Zephyrus Winter Guard, Megan is thrilled to return to the program as a member of the instructional staff. |

ANTONIO "TONI" PALACIOS
Toni has performed with multiple World Class organizations. He recently finished his 2nd and last season with the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps 2024, ending the season in 2nd place at the Drum Corps International World Championship Finals, winning the Zingali award for Best Color Guard. Toni also performed with Zephyrus Winter Guard 2024 and Mirage Winter Guard 2025. He has worked as a guard technician at Newcastle High School and is currently in his 3rd year on the technical staff for the Union High School guard program. |

ROBERT JORDAN
Robert Jordan @thatguywhospins is a passionate Color Guard instructor, designer, and choreographer with over a decade of experience in cyber marching arts. Having had the opportunity to perform with renowned organizations such as Fantasia Winter Guard and The Blue Devils Drum Corps, he has since devoted his career to sharing his expertise with students and instructors from all around the world. Previously based in Southern California, Robert directed a multitude of programs, refining his skills in design, choreography, and technical program development. Now residing in St. Louis, Missouri, he works as a designer, choreographer, and consultant, collaborating with programs across four countries to make the marching arts accessible to students of all levels and backgrounds. With a dedication to supporting both experienced performers and beginners, Robert is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and experience in various settings. He is committed to helping students improve their skills, establish consistency in their technique, and elevate their overall performance. |
