ZEPHYRUS INDEPENDENT WINTER GUARD
Zephyrus Independent Winter Guard provides an energetic, kind, and brave space for performing artists of all backgrounds to learn and grow. Together we build lifelong skills, friendships, and memories using creativity and collaboration as fundamentals of the marching and performing arts.
The mission of Zephyrus Independent Winter Guard is to foster opportunities that are life-changing, skill-developing, and motivate each member to discover their highest potential as artists, performers, and responsible citizens in an environment of mutual respect and self-discipline.
Our aim over the next few years is to build a competitive ensemble of the best performers that represent the vast talent of NE Oklahoma. This unit is a member of the Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma (WGPO) circuit, competed in their first Winter Guard International (WGI) competitions in 2022, and was a WGI World Championship Semi-finalist in 2023. We look forward to continuing our growth and exposure in the coming years!

Presenting our 2024 Production...
Experience "Beautiful Day," a celebration intertwining Oklahoma's rich history, our roles as performers, and our aspirations for the future within a dynamic world. This immersive performance begins with the performers lying in the meadow gazing at the last glimpse of the stars as the breeze of the west wind Zephyrus blows in across the country-side. Featuring an original soundscape by Daymon Sherin, original music by Aaron Morton, and the cherished song "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'" from the musical "Oklahoma!" performed by Jeremy Jordan, beckons you to join us on the tall grass prairie. Here, you'll not only witness but also feel the dawn of a new day firsthand. It emphasizes the notion that beauty and hope exist in the world if we are open to discovering them.
