Aaron Morton
director
Aaron J. Morton is a full time film composer, music producer, and marching arts designer. He is the lead designer at the Pride of Bixby, the lead composer with Sound Booth Theater, and the executive director of Zephyrus Arts Institute. Aaron marched in the 2008 Colt Cadets and 2010 Seattle Cascades. He has written the scores for multiple feature films, audio productions, and educational programs. In addition to overseeing the 2021 Marching Academy, he will assist with percussion instruction and also lead a masterclass.
Dan Potter
masterclass
Drum Major of the Geneseo Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from 1979-1981, Dan was also on the staff of the Glassmen and has taught or consulted high school marching bands in Indiana, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. Dan is also the recipient of the National Association of Broadcasters 2015 Marconi Award for Medium Market Personality of the Year.
Jerremy Stevens
Masterclass
Jeremy Stevens is currently the Community Engagement & Development Coordinator for the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, having spent the last 10 years as a public-school choral music teacher with Broken Arrow Public Schools and Union Public Schools. Jeremy has a degree in Piano Performance and Voice Performance, and a degree in Theatre Arts all from Arkansas Tech University. He has performed in an independent winter guard and marched drum corps prior to his becoming a respected adjudicator across the south. Jeremy lives in Broken Arrow with his husband Alan and their Shetland sheepdog Hallie.
Kim Vento
Masterclass
Kim Vento has worked for over 28 years in the marching and pageantry arts arena. Kim has been a choreographer, instructor, clinician and adjudicator working with pageantry arts camps, drum corps and high school groups throughout the Midwest who have won multiple state, regional, and national titles including 2 BOA Grand National Championships. She is currently the Executive Director of the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center, home of the Kristin Chenoweth Theatre where she hosts the Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp and masterclasses for high school students from all over the country as well as a magnitude of concerts and Broadway tours. She is an active board member of ArtsOK; the Regional Arts Alliance of Broken Arrow and a committee member for Music for All’s Advocacy in Action initiative.
Aaron Hutson

Aaron Hutson is Assistant Director of Bands at Bixby Public Schools. In the fall, he serves as arranger for the Pride of Bixby, and leads visual technique. Prior to his teaching at Bixby, Aaron performed with the the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Jara Clark
Color Guard
Jara Clark is currently the Guard Director at Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma. Since her time with Jenks over the past 9 years, the Jenks Guards have seen enormous success, both in marching & winter seasons. Some of their successes include: 4 Winter Guard International Regional 1st place finishes, 2017 Winter Guard International World Championship Semifinalist, & 2018 Bands of America Grand National Finalists. Jara has also taught at Union High School, Sapulpa High School, and Eclectix, an independent winter guard from Oklahoma where she had also performed. Mrs. Jara has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northeastern State University & is currently serving as the Director of Education for the Oklahoma competitive winter guard circuit: Winter Guard & Percussion of Oklahoma.
David Hall
Percussion
David Hall has a long history with the drum and bugle corps activity. He marched in the Cadets 1985-86, Reading Buccaneers and Bushwackers. Then he went on to teach with Cadets, Boston Crusaders, Reading Buccaneers, and the Bushwackers. He has been a clinician for Thom Hannum’s Mobile Percussion Seminars, and High Schools across the country. David currently lives in Owasso with wife Laurie, and has three grown children: Andrew, Zachary and Kayleigh
CHELSEA ARENAS
Color Guard
Chelsea Arenas attended the University of Houston to study Dance Education while minoring in Early Childhood Development and American Sign Language. She has been teaching children of all ages for over fifteen years. She worked with The Woodlands High School and was the color guard director at The Woodlands College Park from 2011-2013. In addition to her many years of teaching color guard, Chelsea was a featured performer with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from 2008-2011, where she helped to capture their 10th DCI World Championship. She has also performed with the WGI World Class Champion color guard Pride of Cincinnati in 2010 and 2012 and Blast! The Music of Disney during the summer of 2016. Chelsea is the Color Guard coordinator for Zephyrus Drum & Bugle Corps, and color guard caption head for the Madison Scouts.
This summer, Chelsea will be with the Madison Scouts during the marching academy but will still be involved as a consultant and remote educator.

Jason Reznicek
Brass . Visual
Jason Reznicek is a Band Director for Sapulpa Public Schools. Mr. Reznicek attended the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Reznicek was a member of Carolina Crown and has worked with multiple nationally competitive ensembles, including the Union High School Marching Band (Tulsa, OK) as well as the Bentonville High School Marching Band (Bentonville, AR), as a visual technician, music technician, and low brass instructor.
Matthew Sumner
Drum Majors . leadership
Matthew J. Sumner is the Drum Major technician at the Pride of Bixby, and serves on the board for Zephyrus Arts Institute. Before teaching with Bixby, he was the 59th Drum Major for the University of Oklahoma.
